Pop Culture Friday - ripping off a Monkey, don't fling poo!

Friday, May 22, 2009

If you were a member of Alpha Omicron Pi in the mid-90's you know that about -eh, whatta think Merck? Four times a week? - Sixteen Candles was the VHS tape we almost never took out of our VCR - yes, yes, yes, VCR's. Remember them?

Well, Dr. Monkey came up with a Friday blog where you talk about movies you quote a lot. (He said "cool" or unusual, but...)

A LOT!What's happenin' hot stuff?
Fred, I think she's gotten her boobies. And they are just so PERKY!
I just got felt up by my grandmother.
I gotta sleep under some guy named after a duck's dork!
Sofa city sweetheart.
I have a dance to go to at school. We're being graded on it for gym.
Okay, I'll be a dumbass.
Mike is a dork.
I predict she and I will interface.
I think I felt it on my leg -
Fresh breath is a priority in my life.
Uhhh-h000, don't hit anything!
I think black and white would really capture the moment.
Last night at the dance, my little brother paid a buck to see your underwear.
Your outside of my church... You own a church?
Howard, I think your Chinaman's dead.
Oh, you watch your language Mr. Potty-mouth!~
She at the church gettin' malllied to oily bohunk.
And of course the scene in every girl's heart when she tells a boy,
"Thanks for coming to get me."

Enjoy my lovely John Hughes fans - enjoy!

p.s. yes i KNOW i was a sorority girl. please don't judge. ;)

I'm judging, but I love that film. I was soooo in love with Molly, just like all straight college boys were.

Oh my god- just thinking about her "But it already came true" line at the end just gave me goosebumps. I think I have this movie memorized, and I'm not ashamed to say that I still cry at the end, every freaking time.
