Well! I never...

So MommyBrain needs some love and prayers that she feels better (we know everything will be super!) - and SupahMommy got inspired by another blogger to create this weeks MEme.

It struck me as funny - and it will quite a few of you who knew me in college.

I NEVER...
Yes, that infamous game we used to play and try to find out who, what, where, when, of all the hi-jinx that occurred between AOPi's and Deke's...

But, I digress.

This post is about things I have NEVER EVER DONE IN MY LIFE. And since I pretty much do not pass up many opportunities this was tough.

But here goes. With TWO bonus answers...

I have NEVER:

  1. Gone to the top of any building where you were OUTSIDE to look over the edge. I am afraid of heights and sent my camera up with my friends at the Eifel Tower and Olympic Tower in Munich. It just ain't happening people - ask T-Bone. ;)

  2. Watched Lost, Heros, 24, or most of the "IT" hour long shows everyone else loves. I.just.do.not.care.

  3. Graduated college - YET. I graduate in March with (so far, cross your fingers, pray, etc.) a 4.0 gpa. Not that it means much now, if I were 23 I would be on every recruiters list, but now....

  4. Been to California - I have, but I do not think it counts if you land at LAX - get picked up in a car and driven to a hotel - never leave that hotel because you are in training - get taken back to LAX in a bus and go home...

  5. Wanted to see the "psyco-killer porn" that is the scary movie of today, like Saw - etc. What ever happend to the old Friday the 13th style movie that was mostly scary by what you did not see?

  6. Watched anyone die...I am a little freaked out by this because I know one day it will happen, but that brings me to the last never...

  7. I have never been able to not worry. I worry about the stupidest stuff all the time, it is terrible - but since I do not always express my worry I do not feel it hinders me from being happy. You know me, I always still have a good time. ;)

There you have it. Enjoy and play along if you feel the urge to purge.

I know what you mean about the GORY movies now... to me they are NOT even scary-- just gross!! I go for the good ole creepy, can't see what's coming thriller!!

Oh and BTW-- it is awful to see someone die... I thought I would never do it, but was at my mom's side when she took that last breath... not fun!!

I do have to amend this...SLIGHTLY.

I have seen both of my kitties die. One we had to put to sleep, he was 17 and had a tumor and was miserable. The other died of a broken heart...

I sobbed incessently at both.

But, it still is NOT a person.

Melissa, I hear you - but I would rather be there when someone I love passes than have them be all alone.

I worry all the time, too. It's horrible. It is non-stop. I almost saw my uncle die... I left his hospital room moments before he passed away. Horrible.
The only TV shows I watch are: Glee, Desperate Housewives, The Office, and Grey's Anatomy... which is totally dumb, becuase watching Grey's makes me worry even more!

supahmommy- somethin's wrong with that girl said...

Woo Hoo on the graduating ... awesome! And Supah is right (as she usually is), it's more of an accomplishment now :)

Oh, and the not worrying one should be on my list, too ... sometimes it goes slow down my happiness a little ... especially with this second pregnancy ... ugh!

Glad you joined us again this week :)

Congrats on your upcoming degree!

I can't watch any of those crazy scary movies either. I don't get enough sleep as it is, I don't need the nightmares from those movies.

I hope I never have to see anyone die either. That would rip me apart. I don't even want to see a pet die, and don't like to see people die in movies. And I don't know them.

Congrats on your upcoming degree!
