Hee Hee....these things are so overpriced. WE went to the factory store in VT thinking I could get a baby gift for cheap....I was sadly mistaken ;)

That should read, "Show her you are a clueless man-child who has no earthly idea what a grown woman wants."

Sooooo lame! I cracked up when my husband went to Build-a-Bear to get a present for our 14-month old daughter. He wrapped it up for me and I was thinking "oh God, no, don't be a Build-a-Bear for me!!"

Thankfully it was a Boston Red Sox oufit for our baby. I am a huge fan so he wrapped it for me so I could pick an animal of hers to put it on.

Bullet dodged.

I particularly find the slutty, lingerie-clad teddy to be the most disturbing. even more disturbing than the fact that these 'women' are looking at these bears like they are chocolate and want to devour them.

Those things are so bizarre. I definately would not want one.

okay, my boyfriend at the time got me one of those for valentine's day. I had just moved out of state (I was I think 23?) and it arrived in a box and I have to say I really loved it at the time. I still have it, somewhere. Or should I say, my kids have it somewhere.

Does this make me a freak? If my husband sent me one now it'd better be carrying some freaking bling for me..

One of my boyfriends sent me one, and I though it was so cute. But I was only 23 at the time. Thank goodness my husband knows better! (He was not the boyfriend!)

I was feeling so self-conscious until I read the last two comments. My husband now, boyfriend at the time, bought me a Build-A-Bear--but it's just the bear, no weird outfit. I was traveling to Argentina on a missions trip and was not even 21. I thought it was thoughtful, and I still have it today.

But, honestly, if he wanted to give me a present now, I'd tell him to keep the present and let me go to Argentina again--sans kids! :)
