Be careful when crossing that thing, it was built during the Bush Precidency after all so I'd say the workmanship or the oversight of same is less than stellar.

My husband went across about 1/2 hour after it opened - I am not going anywhere near it. Even on the bridge I have to cross down river - I open my windows when I get to it in case anything happens.

Yes - my mind ALWAYS thinks the worst will happen.

I think I'll take a trip over it this weekend, if I get the chance. I'm not scared of this one, so much, but the older bridges I have to drive over all of the time have always scared the crap out of me.
I had an unhealthy fear of bridges falling down while I was on them BEFORE the 35 bridge fell, so you can imagine my neuroses now.
