The BIG POO! Take a whiff.
Wednesday, March 19, 2008
For those of you who are easily offended, do not have children, or whatever, I apologize in advance for the photo you are viewing at my blog today.
My daughter took a poo.
My hubby and sweet Boo Boo La La went in the bathroom the other night and I heard him talking to her about the potty...mumble mumble muble....and was wondering what they were up to when T-bone's head popped out of the bathroom asking if I could bring some wipes....
"Marin pooped!", he said smiling, "Get the camera!"
And I did.

The news is always bad....

I watch and watch and watch. KARE 11, WCCO, Fox, CNN, MSNBC, and on and on.
The news is always depressing, yet I read and watch it all the time. searching.
And today I got it! Positive news about a kid who wanted something good for his community.
Rock on Joe Gibson, rock on.

It was one of THOSE weekends...

Last weekend we had no plans, nothing, nada, we were going to be slugs!
Then Friday afternoon T-bone got lured out of the house by Joshie and Todd.
Saturday morning we realized the fridge was fried.
By Sunday we had offloaded the snowmobiles from the trailer to haul home a new fridge, bought a new fridge, taken off the sliding glass door to get the new fridge into the 102 year old house, cut down the useless desk that was blocking the old fridge so it would not block the new fridge---if you have been to my house you know what I am talking about ---bought a new tv to go on the wall now the desk that the old one sat on was gone, ate Buffalo Wild Wings, OH and saw NEMO on ice.
Here is the evidence~!

Notice the deli drawer that goes across....
Love the bottom freezer and shelves...
I am a smiling geek, some nice lady helped me capture that....
Chanelling Nigella
Sunday, March 16, 2008
On Sundays I pretend to be a domestic diva.
I saw Nigella this morning and she was making these yummy cupcakes...so I had to try them myself.
Of course I was a little "Sandra Lee" and used pre-made Pillsbury Vanilla Frosting and did not have any cute little sugar daisies to put on top...but I DID substitute 1TBSP of the sugar for Lavendar/Ginger sugar I had on my spice rack.
The steps and hubby were QUITE pleased with my cupcakes...so don't tell them about the lavendar/ginger. They don't like when I put gourmet touches on things.
Here are my Nigella results - took only 14 minutes in my oven ---so WATCH THEM!!

Very sad, very moving...we all love Olivia.

My friend Eileen is unbelievable. I can not tell you how many times I confided in her at work, appreciated her wisdom, shared funny kid stories...and congratulated her on her new husband and impending child. I was sad to hear about a month ago that the baby would never survive, and that Eileen had not told very many people about that fact. She just smiled her Eileen smile and thanked them for their kind wishes. Now she shares with all of us her strength--and how she and her family chose to grieve.
I love you Eileen. And Olivia you are the most lovable baby I ever saw. Peace.
