Random Thoughts for a Tuesday

I had to go to the doctor to give him blood samples...nothing serious or fatal.
I drank an entire 24oz mug of Tazo Refresh tea before I got there.
I was an IDIOT and when east on the Crosstown to try to get to 94 and work.
Kimberly needs to call me and tell me what she meant about the U-Haul guys in NOLA.
I had two new Twitter followers this morning, but I think they are probably the kind that want you to follow them and offer you "favors".

Now I have a meeting in less than ten minutes.

Meet my new BFF Maya:

Since shortly after Christmas when T-bone bought me a Wii Fit - Yes, he might have been disemboweled for it, IF I had not said more than once I was looking to buy one - I have been using it. I like it a lot, but always thought...why won't it do a whole SERIES of Yoga moves? I have to start each one, wait, wait, wait....

Waiting, Waiting...


But now with my new BFF Maya I get to do a WHOLE WORKOUT and only setup once.

15 Min or Yoga? Sure.

30 minutes of Cardio? Why Not?

60 minutes of Pilates - Maya is there and ready.

She even makes fun of me when I tell her she is lucky I showed up for my workout...HA!

the only thing creeping me out a bit is that Maya's voice sounds suspiciously like Madonna's....

How do you do it? Really?

A friend asked me,
"How do you blog? I don't get it - I could never find that much to write about."

Well, the truth is that some days I have NOTHING....seriously I am drained and can't focus and blahhhhhh! I ignore the blog and facebook and twitter and just am.

So there!

Then there are days like today when I look at an old YouTube video and laugh about how funny T-bone is and that crazy little baby who has blessed us with her smiles...


AND particularly good news came yesterday that

THE HOT TUB'S NEW SPA PACK IS ON A DELIVERY TRUCK AND HEADED TO OUR HOME!!

Oh, sweet hot tub, I have missed you since you froze over in the dark & cold days last winter. You look so sad with your sagging cover just waiting...

About every other day the Boo Boo has had a conversation like this with T-bone or myself.

"Can we go in the pool?"

No sweetie it is still broken.

"Our pool is BROK-DED? Daddy and I are going to have to fix it."

Yup

"Yup, we will get tools and fix-ded it. Me and Daddy."

Honey, you better start while SpongeBob is on or something so she forgets your out there Sunday....love you!

We Regret to Inform you...

...that Mommy Lisa now refuses to watch Jon &/or Kate.

I have loved the show, but it started to go downhill at the end of the last season and CRASHED AND BURNED at the begining of this new "season"...

When they started talking in their interview section about "We should do a whole episode about..." "Hey! That could be an episode!"

I.LOST.IT.

I loved this show because it seemed real.

I mean come ON - I have Gene Simmons Family Jewels for my scripted reality show already.

Anyway...I thought of Goose's line in TopGun when I decided it was over for me with Jon &/or Kate (the kids are still cute)

Rainy weekends always make me cook

J-dogg had baseball in Burnsville this weekend...don't ask they were out after three games.

Hubby says they are "getting better as they go and that is better than last year when they were great and then got bad."

Friday night - the game was too early for me to make it home from work, so I stayed at work and got all my homework for this class DONE. YEAH - should be another A quarter keeping my 4.0 gpa intact.

Saturday - Boo Boo La La and I had swimming lessons and I had a "come to Jebus" meeting with the pool director. Seriously over two months FOUR instructors??? And they only meet on Saturday!!! Interestingly this is a NEW pool director and he was cleaning house, agreed with me and was going to share my venting with his staff when he has his "come to Jebus" meeting with them today.

We went home to make a nice big lunch for the boys, then the evening game got rained out and we decided to have another BIG dinner of steak. I was stuffed.

Sunday - Because of the rainout they had an early morning game and I called the hubs to discuss what Boo Boo La La and I should bring when we arrived later that morning...no need, they were losing and would be done for the day.

So, what do I do??? Cook MORE. Damn Food Network and how much I love to watch Ina on rainy days. (p.s. it is AWESOME lasagna.)

So, poke me if I don't move too much. I am a stuffed walrus today.

Why have I been missing you?

So I wrote this post a YEAR and a HALF ago.

But it is so hard to watch them...they are only on the television in the living room with the box. Darn cable putting Oxygen WAY UP there at 185!!!

This sick day post reminded me again of us...and our issues with the cats. (mostly cuz the new one won't MOVE when you walk near him...he trips everyone. dumbass cat. tee hee.)
We still are Tori and Dean, we just only had one crop at our 'baby farm'.

(but we can still till the soil)

My girlfriend, she's at the end...

Paige went to Ladies Rock Camp...she can BANG THOSE DRUMS!!!
